Becker VTLF 2.500
The highest rated suction-airflow model in this comparison. Its published vacuum rating differs from the 2.250 and 2.400, so it must not be chosen solely by a larger model number.

Manufacturer specifications
- Suction air rate, 50 Hz
- 291 CFM
- Suction air rate, 60 Hz
- 336 CFM
- Published vacuum rating
- 22.1 in. HgV
- Technology
- Oil-free rotary vane
VTLF values are from the manufacturer’s US data sheet. CFM is cubic feet per minute; in. HgV is inches of mercury vacuum relative to atmosphere. The sheet gives reference conditions of 0 in. HgV and 68°F, with ±5% tolerance for its performance curves. Suction-air rate and vacuum are separate ratings, not simultaneous airflow at maximum vacuum. Motor voltage, power and options depend on the supplied variant; confirm the nameplate and current configuration before purchase.
CNC application
Review for spoilboard/nested-base routing with substantial airflow demand. Required vacuum, material permeability and machine configuration still govern selection.
Selection must account for the operating vacuum, leak rate, material, altitude and duty. Published figures are reference data, not a sizing guarantee or a promise of installed performance.
Service & rebuild assessment
For weak hold-down, unusual noise, overheating or a trip, share the model, serial number, motor nameplate, fault history and vacuum readings. Check the table, seals, piping and filters as part of the diagnosis; a machine-side leak can resemble a pump problem.
SLAG reviews service and rebuild options around the actual unit. Inspection may include vanes, bearings, rotor/cylinder wear, filters, cooling and motor condition. Parts availability and inspection determine the repair scope; a rebuild or performance outcome is not promised before assessment.
